StarNav CEO Named Innovator of Distinction in Technology
Riverside, CA, 05/12/2022 – StarNav is very happy to celebrate that our CEO Dr. Joshua Morales is an honoree for the Innovator of Distinction in Technology at the inaugural Inland Empire Innovation Homecoming! This event was presented by Innovation Ecosystem and co-presented by Center for Social Innovation, UCR & University of La Verne and celebrates alumni entrepreneurs who are making significant innovation impacts in the region. Joshua received his undergrad from UC Riverside and his Ph.D. from the University of Irvine. After his graduate studies, he and the two other co-founders, Christian Ardito and Michael Morales, launched StarNav in downtown Riverside. Since then, StarNav has built relationships with universities in the Inland Empire to provide high tech jobs to new and recent graduates. Joshua and the other founders are committed to boosting up this region as the company develops innovative technologies for positioning, navigation, and timing.
We are excited for the opportunity to have Joshua recognized along with the other alumni entrepreneurs and innovators who are doing amazing and impactful things in the Inland Empire.

About the Innovation Homecoming: The Inland Empire is a fast-growing region that is teeming with innovation, and much of that innovation centers around the people who were born and raised in the region. Some of our innovators have made a name for themselves in the region, while many others have distinguished themselves in other parts of the state or across the country. What if we had an alumni reception for our innovators, not for any particular high school or university, but for the entire two-county region? This is the idea behind the Inland Empire Innovation Homecoming series.
