We are a group of passionate scientist, researchers, and engineers. Our key members spent years in academia studying fundamentals, deriving theory, and presenting preliminary simulation and experimental demonstrations. We understand there is a gap between academic research and production technologies. StarNav was created out of a passion to bridge this gap.

Dr. Joshua Morales

Chief Executive Officer

• Ph.D. Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Irvine.
• 25+ relevant publications on positioning / navigation / timing technology and applications.
• Previously at The Aerospace Corporation. Worked on integrated navigation systems.
• Serving as PI on multiple GPS-denied PNT projects (Navy, Army, Air Force, and NSF SBIR/STTRs).

Mr. Christian Ardito

Chief Technical Officer

• M.S. Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Irvine.
• Previously at SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific.
• Published ION research papers studying LEO satellite signal-based navigation.
• Serving as TL on multiple GPS-denied PNT projects (Navy, Army, Air Force, and NSF SBIR/STTRs).

Mr. Austin Jack

Executive Vice President

• Specialty in business development, fundraising, and charitable non-profit consulting.
• Previous executive to gig economy start up and iPhone / Android app-based company.
• Previous executive to the National Public Policy & Litigation Center.
• Acting board member to major new media outlets and local to global American policy organizations.

AREAS OF BUSINESS

StarNav’s core area of business is bringing products to the market that convert ambient radio signals into positioning, navigation, and timing information for safe navigation that is completely independent of GPS. StarNav has strategic partners and customers in the commercial sector and within the US Department of Defense.
